Going indie with music from India

Indie music is basically acts that would play for, record, and produce albums or songs on their own. In most cases, they would sell directly to stores or even online.Â
Whether you like it or not, has become extremely popular among youth with venues like BlueFrog, promoters like Artist Aloud, the event NH7 Weekender, channel MTV Indies, and some radio stations have supported the same. To be fair, a lot of music one hears in this slot is innovative, appealing, and very cool.

Kavish Seth is an independent artist, singer, songwriter, poet who writes primarily in Hindustani. This IIT Bombay alumnus studied chemistry when he first thought of starting his own musical journey by writing songs and planning to cut an album. His project, Zubaan, is a musical project started by him where several independent artists from different musical linguistic scenes from across India, come together, collaborate, and perform across the mainlands.
