Words are mightier than swords, as they shape your very core beliefs and world view. Not just political or educational books, but even a simple children’s book, fiction or non-fiction paints a picture of our society that shape the way we perceive it.
With the kind of immersion reading a book offers, it is very easy to get biased and borrow the ideologies of the writer. There are two ways to get out of this idea trap: read both sides of the story and then discuss it with others (family, friends, communities, etc).
In this issue, we focus on some amazing read recommendations themed around politics. If you too have any additions, feel free to post about them on merrative or start a discussion!
